Summary:

Casualty Claims Adjuster with an emphasis on auto liability. This position investigates, evaluates and settles auto liability claims. This position is responsible for monitoring, evaluating and reviewing injury/medical payment claims, adjusting reserves, negotiating injury/property claim settlements.

The duties outlined below represent the minimum duties required as a Casualty Claims Adjuster. Other duties may be assigned as needed.


Essential Functions

  • Investigate liability and determine negligence
  • Determines reserves needed and ensures they are adequately adjusted throughout the life of the file
  • Monitor, evaluate and settle bodily injury claims
  • Handle medical payment claims
  • File and answer arbitration

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years' experience in claims is preferred
